AquaxylTM is an exceptional moisturising ingredient that optimises dermal water reserves by increasing the content of glycosaminoglycans (hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulphate), the main water-trapping reservoir substances in the skin. Aquaxyl’s moisturising concept is complex, acting also by decreasing transepidermal water loss. Aquaxyl stimulates the synthesis of ceramides, the intercellular cement that restores the skin’s barrier function, reducing water loss. Through this dual action the skin is optimally moisturised, the physiological peeling process is normalised and the microrelief of the skin is improved.
Glycerin, as a component of the skin’s natural moisturizing factor, attracts and binds water from the atmosphere and, through aquaglyceroporin 3 found in the epidermis, transports it into the skin, having a moisturizing and repairing effect on the skin’s barrier function.
Ceramidyl-Omega improves epidermal restructuring processes and cohesion between corneocytes, restores the skin’s barrier function and its ability to retain water.

Use: It is used as the finishing stage of the cosmetic treatment. Apply all over the face, neck and décolleté and gently massage until completely absorbed into the skin. It can be used as a base for daily make-up. It is also recommended for use at home between treatments: it can be used 1-2 times a day, morning and evening. For maximum effects, first use MOISTURIZING SERUM from the same product range.
